Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to identify and characterize selected terrorist threats and their impact on the security of Polish. In the article, the authors present ways of defi ning, understanding and classifying terrorism. Next, the sources of terrorist threats related to the war in Ukraine and the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian section of the state border were described. The summary indicates that the geographical location of Polish and the intersection of a number of migration and smuggling routes on its territory, as well as the proximity to Belarus, Russia and Ukraine are additional factors increasing the terrorist threat. In addition, the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian state border and the war in Ukraine pose further threats to Poland related to organized crime, mainly in the area of crimes related to: smuggling of weapons, explosives, drugs and people. Bearing in mind the above, a research problem was formulated: Are the migration crisis and the war in Ukraine a source of terrorist threats for Polish? In order to answer the problematic question, a critical analysis of the literature and legal acts were used.
