Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the issues concerning protection of personal data on the Internet. Firstly, the legislative approach is shown, as well as key definitions. Secondly, IT security and building networks for hosting and sharing sensitive information are described. Finally, essence of managing this type of databases is evaluated.
