Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the problems of term formation in automotive industry through the process of term formation in Russian and Bulgarian languages. Some of the features of term formation are described in comparative aspect, and the main resources of creating terms are presented, also some extra linguistic factors influencing the formation of the considered term system are provided.
