Summary/Abstract: The work În marea trecere (In the great passage) for mixed choir, inspired by Lucian Blaga’s homonym poem, is representative for the choral creation of the composer Tudor Jarda. The present study aims to reveal the ways in wich the poetic idea, the metaphor and meaning find musical representation.
