Summary/Abstract: The article discusses a conference held on October 15, 2015, by the Cabinet of Music History at the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, focusing on the life and work of Jan Dismas Zelenka[^1^][1]. Despite its small scale, the event was significant, featuring prominent Zelenka specialists like Janice Stockigt and Wolfgang Horn.
