General Plan of the Commune: A Potential Tool for Protecting Agricultural Land

Summary/Abstract: This article aimed to present the commune’s general plan as a potential tool forthe protection of agricultural land. The reason for taking up this topic was the amendmentto the legal provisions introduced in 2023 by the Act amending the Act on Spatial Planningand Development and certain other acts of July 24, 2023. The article attempted to characteriselegal provisions and their impact on increasing the protection of agricultural land. Legalprovisions that regulate the principles of shaping planning and spatial development policiesfrom the perspective of agricultural land protection were presented.
