Summary/Abstract: The development of perception is very important for children of younger school age. Primary school teachers can also develop it through manipulation activities. One of the important aids in manipulative activities is also a set of geometric shapes created by the Hungarian mathematician Zoltán Pál Dienes called Dienes' s logical block. The aim of the paper is to bring this tool closer, especially to primary school teachers, and to offer them suggestions of thematic units in which they can use Dienes' logical block.
