Current challenges and perspectives of etymological research of Slavic languages

Summary/Abstract: The geopolitical situation (Russia’s armed aggression in Ukraine), that occurred during the global pandemic, as result complicated relations in the Slavic linguistic circle. This situation still refers not only to the implementation of initiated (often joint) research projects, but above all to the exchange of scientific thought. In this article the author presents a lot of information about the latest lexicographic publications as well as currently conducted research on the etymology of Slavic languages and dialects in Polish and foreign scientific centers, especially Slavic ones.
