Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the topic of fragility in Pope Francis’s teachings from a pastoral perspective. It describes the perspectives of working with human fragility in the life of the individual as well as in the life of the society. It also shows God’s attitude to human frailty and how God dealt with fragility in human existence. Further, the work enumerates the guiding principles of working with fragility based on the teachings of Pope Francis. Subsequently, the article shows the possibilities of working with one´s own fragility and also with the fragility of others. In conclusion, it emphasizes the need for honest treatment of the phenomenon of fragility in families, communities, but also in the life of the whole society.
