Mamo, батько! How to prepare for raising a bilingual child? On bilingualism in Polish-Ukrainian environment

Summary/Abstract: The lack of appropriate compendium on bilingualism has been debated on for several years. In the face of intensifying migration, the most important question is: can parents be prepared to rise a bicultural child? The main aim of my paper is to analyze bilingualism in general and in the Polish-Ukrainian environment, in particular. Case studies presented may further the considerations on the purpose of bilingualism, educational strategies and the search for identity in a globalized world.
