Issues of Reception of The "Literature of The Drawer”. The Case of Zef Zorba

Summary/Abstract: During the research of periodicals, interviews, journalistic articles, scientific articles, anthologies as well as the chapters devoted to Zef Zorba within study-books, we found some data, which, all together, organized in a system, constitute a proof of his reception, - indeed not voluminous, but with specifics unlike those of other authors: a kind of reception with unique qualities, just like his poetry itself. We will stop in highlighting some features of these studies: - life drawing of Zef Zorba's portrait, the portrait of an artist - on the way of the writing of Zef Zorba, in solitude and in terror, - on the ways of relating to the virtual recipient, "a ghost" one - on the retrieving the broken thread of the continuity of Albanian literature and the connection with authors such as Lasgush Poradeci, Mitrush Kuteli, Ernest Koliqi, etc. - the concept of dissidence and issues of the relationship with hermetic writers etc. In his solitude, Zorba made the very essence of his thoughts a living work. A history of isolation and loneliness is a history of literature, although a secret one. We all know that in socialist realism, people of action are usually appreciated, but it is the marginalized people who really acted: they changed the pages of Albanian literature.
