Summary/Abstract: In Poland, the process of assessment and implementation of needs at the local level is implemented by sector. Health care, social welfare and education have their own diagnos- tic and therapeutic tools. There is a lack of nationwide standards for intersectoral manage- ment of this process and cooperation and integration of resources at the local level. Each sector operates on its own without seeing the others, making it difficult, if not impossible, to share information, knowledge, resources. As a result, there is a system with low efficien- cy, in which there can be duplication of activities, efforts, costs. The primary purpose of the study is to present the intersectoral model of child, student and family support developed and piloted as part of the project activities. This presenta- tion is preceded by a general characterization of intrasectoral and intersectoral support processes considered in the context of broadly inclusive education. The starting point is the thesis that in the current formula, support for mainstream institutions takes place to a limited extent and only intrasectorally, which reduces its relevance and quality. As a re- sult, it is worth attempting to construct an intersectoral model of support that fits the needs of students performing compulsory schooling in mainstream institutions.
