Summary/Abstract: The regular meaning of the word tvarka (Eng. 'order') refers to 'what conforms to harmony, systemic arrangement and norm'. This is the meaning that has been well established in general and administrative Lithuanian. The word tvarka shall not be used in refference to the document describing/setting the order and therefore should not be confused with its regular meaning. The order is set and defined by a number of documents: regulations (nuostatai), rules (taisyklės) etc., therefore, the usage of tvarka in this meaning is redundant. If regulations and rules do not suffice, other complex expressions can be used, e. g. tvarkos taisyklės, tvarkos nuostatai (Eng. 'rules of the order, regulations of the order') etc. One of the best alternatives would be a combination of tvarka with aprašas, which has more general meaning: tvarkos aprašas (Eng. 'description of order').
