Summary/Abstract: The report examines the characteristics of the military minister - administrator, leader, manager. Its functions are described, which are normatively defined in the ZOVSRB. The Minister of Defense leads and is responsible for the implementation of the state policy in the field of defense of the country. It is very important that he communicates, supports and stimulates the professional growth of his subordinates. The key to the successful future of the military institution is the career development of employees.
