Summary/Abstract: Stories written in mathnawi verse became widespread after the Turks accepted Islam. Verse forms, which could be described as "verse stories" before Islam, changed in terms of form and content during the Karakhanid period, and important examples of this genre were written, especially in the Old Anatolian Turkish period. When the texts of the period are evaluated in terms of subject, the prevalence of religious-sufistic or moral texts is obvious. In addition to works with religious content such as Mevlid, Mucizat, Miracname, Kıyametname, the abundance of independent works titled "Dastan" and "Hikayet" is also interesting in this period. The work called Hikayet-i Derviş Divane, which is about the pilgrimage of a dervish and the miracles that took place during this journey, is just one of the works in this genre. Five copies of the work have been identified, registered in the Ankara National Library Manuscripts Catalog 06 Mil Yz A6545/2, Ankara National Library Manuscripts Catalog 06 Mil Yz A9971, Istanbul National Library Ali Emiri Manuscripts Collection AE Mnz 541/1, Istanbul Suleymaniye Manuscript Library Manuscript Donations Collection 2522 and Konya Koyunoglu City Museum and Library Manuscripts Catalog 13341 archive number. In the article, the transcription text was created by comparing the identified copies of Hikayet-i Derviş Divane. A poetic story that has not been published before has been brought to light and a new chapter has been added to religious verse stories.
