Summary/Abstract: Željko Škuljević (1953 - 2019), the first philosopher from Zenica, went there five years ago. He left behind more than twenty books on philosophy, poetry and essay writing. In his philosophical opus, he showed a strong eros towards ancient Greek philosophy, and within it he focused mostly on the sophists, Socrates and the hedonism of Ancient Greece. He participated in the formation of the Pedagogical Academy, later the Faculty of Pedagogy, that is, the Faculty of Philosophy, and then held the position of vice-rector for teaching and student affairs. During his work at the University of Zenica, he headed the Chair of General Program Basics and the Chair of Philosophy and Sociology. This work thematizes his philosophical opus, and the occasion is five years since his death.
