Summary/Abstract: Information nowadays is the most valuable resource and at the same time the fastest growing risk to social and personal security. Our society today needs new models for analyzing and assessing risks so that it takes into account in their infancy the threats that arise from the use of information and artificial intelligence. This report examines the relationship of information and social security, as well as the contemporary risks and challenges associated with growing disinformation, misuse of personal information, and the application of AI-based technologies. An important conclusion of the authors is that the widespread integration of information and technology can create a new set of inequalities to deepen the process of social vulnerability of societies and individuals.
