Supporting families with the experience of negligence as one of the forms of prenatal violence

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to show possibilities of supporting a family affected by prenatal violence caused by negligence. A synthesis has been made that allows to specify which actions should be undertaken to support a family affected by this problem. The synthesis was reached trough analysis of the phenomenon itself, as well as its causes and consequences. The synthesis shows prenatal violence as a multidimensional phenomenon, and the support of the family should take place through appropriate semantics, supporting dialogue skills with the child during a prenatal period, and specifi c institutional and educational actions.
