Summary/Abstract: In the article attention is paid to Educational-teaching (ETW) or training as a part of education and its goal as a process of teaching. Topics about the necessity for more thorough training in Bulgarian Folk Dances (BFD) in secondary schools are also concerned. It is important to master dance techniques, stylish and artistic performance, knowledge of the history of dance and its terminology, getting to know the biographies and works of the Bulgarian classics of choreography, as well as the importance of education to a higher level – the university, where the professional dancer acquires new skills, practical competences and knowledge in his new field as а choreographer-teacher and choreogra- 150 pher-director. Last but not least is the topic of the so-called Educational psychology and its ultimate goal – understanding and ability the main role for which is played by a competent teacher and practice.
