Summary/Abstract: This article examines the multifaceted nature of the concept of „musical hearing“. The author investigates the neurological, cognitive and psychological manifestations of the phenomenon in the field of music-auditory training. The elaboration aims to analyze the components of musical hearing necessary for the smooth perception of music of the 20th and 21st centuries. The choice is motivated by the scientific interests of the author.
