Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a brief overview of global scientific research and perspectives on children's understanding of the relationship between emotions and their causes. The focus is on the abilities of children aged 4-6 to identify and explain the reasons behind emotions, as well as to predict how a person might feel in specific situations. The paper explores both the possibilities and limitations in children's comprehension that emotions are influenced by individual traits, thoughts, actions, desires, beliefs, expectations, past experiences, and various external circumstances.
