Summary/Abstract: Considering traditional aesthetics under the sign of value relativism and showing distrust towards the ideal of the perfection of the masterpiece, skeptical towards the unitary vision of existence, denouncing the oppressive character of the canon and the imposture of the creative self, the postmodernists adopt the avant-garde attitude of derision and demystification, but not on the deeply demolishing of them: by re-writing with the procedures in sight, the past can be recovered.
