Summary/Abstract: Communication occupies an important role in the development of the child as part of society. With human evolution and technological progress, children communicate more and more in the virtual environment, direct communication being less tempting and interesting for them. Thus, although the list of contacts in social networks is large, pre-adolescents communicate more through messages, they cannot identify, for the most part, the emotions and feelings experienced by the interlocutor. Communicating through ultra-modern techniques, it is difficult for pre-adolescents to experience the emotion together with the interlocutor, it is more difficult for them to empathize, communicate and recognize the emotions of other people, because virtual communication creates limits and barriers in the expression and interpretation of the non-verbal message. The age of preadolescence being the period when interpersonal communication is extremely important for preadolescents becoming their basic activity.
