Summary/Abstract: Ethics and bioethics, on the one hand, and human security, on the other, defend social equity, human rights and advocate for the elimination of human risks in the context of global change. Social, economic, political, military, cultural or environmental processes, phenomena and events are interdependent, inter-influencing each other. Given the magnification of the adverse effects of the contemporary global crisis, which is characterized by complexity and multi-dimensioning, there are a number of new risks and threats to national, regional or global security. Ethical and bioethical as well as security issues converge on a similar methodology, as well as on a common set of approaches to this issue. The imperative need to address contemporary global threats to the protection of the human person can be met by reconceptualizing on a local, regional and global scale, methodologically and ethically and morally, the prospects for strengthening human security for a more sustainable and qualitative standard of living on the world map.
