THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVES ON PROMOTING HUMAN SECURITY THROUGH MECHANISMS OF THE STATE OF LAW

Summary/Abstract: The most effective mechanisms of the state of law, such as the procedures for the defence of fundamental human rights and the robust justice system that generate social equity and sustainable development represent important guarantees of ensuring human security and are complementary and interdependent with the universal imperatives of sustainable human survival in the conditions of the contemporary global crisis. The issue of correlation of the rule of law with human security is a subject that is treated situationally and in accordance or in tandem with a set of reasoned conditions. The paradigm of human security, supported by the concept of human rights, managed to bring a new breath to security studies in the last 2-3 decades, transforming and replacing the dominant conception, of realist origin, of state security in a chaotic world, where only military force can provide true protection.
