SPECIFIC BANKING MANAGEMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

Summary/Abstract: The banking system has always represented a fundamental element of the national economy. The management of a financial institution, such as a commercial bank, requires special efforts aimed at developing complex strategies, based on the application of the management tools and procedures of this field of activity, subject to specific risks. The importance of effective bank management is explained on the one hand by the fact that these financial and lending institutions are primarily economic agents, whose main objective is profitability. From another point of view, the performance of commercial banks' activity represents a basic factor in maintaining the balance of the national financial banking system.
