Summary/Abstract: In this article, we elucidate self-esteem as a fundamental dimension of resilient managers. However, self-esteem is an essential dimension for any human being, regardless of whether he is a child, adult or elderly person, regardless of culture, personality, interests, social status, abilities. In reality, self-esteem is based on three „ingredients”: self-love, self-concept and self-confidence. Self-esteem is an important component of personal development and career success for anyone, including managers. Resilient managers tend to have a healthy self-esteem that is balanced and based on a realistic understanding of their abilities and capabilities.
