Summary/Abstract: In this article we aimed to come up with some original impressions about the adjustment and development of the tool set for the diagnosis of depression and the assessment of the severity of depression in patients with cerebrovascular accident (CVA) in the neurology clinic, which leads to the optimization the process of psychological diagnosis of the affectivity of patients with post-stroke status, for the subsequent inclusion in a Program of cognitive therapies for depression. The study included patients in the post-stroke recovery process from the Institute of Emergency Medicine in Chisinau, whose individual treatment plan includes the psychological recovery component, the final goal being the reduction of depression and anxiety, the induction of a state of calm and relaxation, improving cognitive activity and memory, removing physical and mental asthenia.
