Summary/Abstract: In existing definitions, scope and models, the performing arts are seen as a form of cultural and creative industries. On the other hand, the festival, as a form of special events, falls under the category of tourism industries. Is it still relevant to considered according to these limitations, or have music-stage festivals blurred the existing boundaries and the festival as such could also be considered on as a form of cultural and creative industries. For this purpose, a field study of two non-metropolitan music and stage festivals was conducted, and the report examined the development of the scope of the cultural and creative industries and the overlapting characteristics of the events.
