The Specifi city of Economic Stability from the Perspective of Unilateral Euroisation – Case Study of Andorra, Monaco and San Marino

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to assess the economic conditions of Andorra, Monacoand San Marino. The article presents these microstates against the backgroundof neighboring countries and the Economic and Monetary Union. The impactof the Spanish and French economies to Andorra, the French economy to Mona-co, the Italian economy to San Marino contributed to the creation of mutual links.The article presents the results of research on selected macroeconomic indica-tors and convergence criteria in the period 2000–2021. These data point to somesimilarities and diff erences between microstates, both in economic and politicalterms. All microstates have adopted unilateral euroization, which has contribut-ed to maintaining economic stability in microstates in 2020–2021. The economicimpacts caused by the global crisis and the economic slowdown in 2019–2021 oc-curred in Monaco to the least extent, then in Andorra to a moderate extent, andin San Marino to the greatest extent.
