Summary/Abstract: his work tries to highlight Paul Cornea’s concern for reading and interpretation. According to his conception, the act of reading presupposes an assumption of this human activity, during which the writer and the work are recreated, since each reader gives the text a certain meaning, which is, living it in his own way. We aim to follow the route from reading to interpretation, which is validated as a complex and continuous approach, in which an intellectual discipline is carried out, because in front of an opera no reader is innocent.
