Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the legal aspects of Cicero’s oration on behalf of Tullius, especially the actio de vi coactis armatisve hominibus, an action that receives comparatively little attention in the scientific debate. It will be shown, inter alia, that Cicero’s interpretation of the action is probably “correct”.
