Summary/Abstract: Extremely Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Fields (ELF EMF) represent a significant aspect of the modern technological environment. This article summarizes research on the impact of ELF EMF on human cells, focusing on various aspects of their biological effects. This review shows that exposure to ELF EMF can influence various cellular processes and functions, potentially leading to health consequences, including neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular issues, reproductive difficulties, and cancer. Although there are indications of negative effects, further research is needed to precisely determine the extent and mechanisms of these effects. The results suggest the need for ongoing monitoring and the development of safety guidelines to protect public health from potential risks associated with ELF EMF.
