Summary/Abstract: Several tools and bronze and iron instruments found during the seven research campaignes in the Roman rural settlement from Ocna Sibiului having analogies with the inventory from some potter shops in dacian Province, are studied. Starting from these findings and from the characteristics of the ceramic stuff found in the settlement of Ocna Sibiului, here the pottery craft seems to be sure, even till now, they haven`t found also the ovens. Among the shapes of the pottery made here, no doubt, there are those typical for the Norico – Pannonice, pots and stock pots decorated with the comb (Kammstriche) or with the sweep (Besenstrich) and the pots tripodes, Dreifussschale, a great deal is found in this settlement
