Summary/Abstract: Ismail Kadare, in his novel The Life, Play and Death of Lul Mazreku, introduces a new form to his literary creation, crafting a work through a genre syncretism that allows for various interpretive approaches. The work is characterized by numerous elements of the dramatic genre, through which the author constructs both the plot and the dramatic characters within the novel. The method for studying and exploring this work will employ a psychoanalytic approach, offering a psychological insight into the characters. The theoretical (analytical) method will be used to approach the novel’s internal analysis, facilitating a study of the narrative. Since the novel features political and historical events intertwined with the author’s biography, a positivist method will also be applied.
