Summary/Abstract: The article reports data on the parasite and free nematode species associated with the soil in the Vivarium (birds’ aviaries) located in the Botanical Garden of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History. In total, 57 species of nematodes from 5 trophic-ecological groups were found, the most important being the third group of bacteriophage nematodes, which occupy 47% of the total found nematodes. More frequent were the species of Rhabditida order with the dominance (13 species) of the Cephalobidae family. It is worth mentioning that outbreaks of root parasitic nematodes have not been detected in birds’ aviaries.
