Summary/Abstract: The article is a detailed and complex descriptive study of some species of birds from the Phasianidae family (Aves: Galliformes), which could be met in the Vivarium of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History, describing species of the following genera: Lophophorus, Lophura, Crossoptilon, Syrmaticus, Phasianus and Chrysolophus. The work focuses on the following aspects: alternative names, identification, description, geographical variation, measurements, habitat, behavior, breeding, distribution and ecological status.
