Summary/Abstract: The study problematizes whether and to what extent digital technologies significantly change the principles of power-arts-society interaction from the analog “age”. In the context of Critical Theory, French poststructuralism and contemporary studies of power-culture-technology relations, receptions of the concept of Аura from Walter Benjamin‘s philosophical essay „The work of art in the age of its technical reproducibility“ are analyzed. In this way, key themes such as the construction of history, the autonomy of art and the construction of social space are brought out.
