Summary/Abstract: This material is a biographical medallion dedicated to the Moldavian boyar, Iordache Bucșănescu, who served in the chancelleries of the lords of Moldavia and Muntenia, from 1777 to 1812, holding various positions. Married by Field Marshal Potiomkin, he served in the Tsarist Empire from 1806-1812, moved to Bessarabia in 1813, held various positions, and returned to Moldavia in 1816 to take refuge in Chernivtsi in 1821.
