Historical Analysis of International Relations in the 19th–20th Century: Polish Version

Summary/Abstract: In his review, Arūnas Gumuliauskas evaluated the textbook Historia nowoczesnych stosunków międzynarodowych by Wojciech Rojek. According to the reviewer, History Textbook of the International Relations in Modern Times is first and foremost based on the careful selection of Polish historians’ publications and collections of sources but it does not, however, dispense with scientific publications in English, French and German languages. They only enrich the content of the textbook and provide the author with an opportunity not to limit with the position of Polish historiography on some particular issue. The textbook is not only relevant to Polish students as would-be diplomats and specialists of international relations but it also contributes to the formation of the Polish diplomatic approach towards the world in the future and, naturally, towards one’s neighbours.
