Summary/Abstract: In an exceptional critique of the Frankfurt example, Kadri Vihvelin pointed out one unpleasant consequence that must be accepted by all those who believe that the example successfully problematizes the principle of alternative possibilities, namely that the subject can be responsible in a fatalistic scenario. Although counterintuitive, this paper offers an interpretation that makes this conclusion acceptable to representatives of Frankfurt-type compatibilism.
