THE AVAILABILITY OF EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES IN DISTRICTS OF THE POZNAŃ METROPOLITAN AREA

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this work is to present the distribution and availability of both state and private educational facilities in the Poznań metropolitan area, and to provide recommendations on issues that are significant from the perspective of district councils. The work discusses all levels of education, excluding universities: from kindergartens and elementary schools, to middle schools and secondary education (high schools and vocational schools). The paper also discusses the availability of childcare facilities for children up to 3 years old, even though these are not officially recognized as an element of the educational system.
