Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the spatial differentiation of the results of the lower secondary school exam in the Poznan agglomeration. The article makes reference to the theory of social capital, developed on the basis of the social sciences by J. S. Coleman, recalling the thesis that the process of suburbanisation alters the local community in terms of the characteristics of social capital, is reflected in the spatial differentiation of secondary school examination results.
