Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses representations of Bosnia and the creation of border discourse in the novels Uhode and Hodža Strah by Derviš Sušić. Through analysis of border discourse in these novels, the author aims to highlight the types of expressions that have been used in its formation. The participation of various statements in shaping border discourse does not require their equivalence; therefore economic, medical, military and judicial statements (discourses), participate equally in its creation. In addition, this article aims to show the way representation of others/Others in Bosnia influences the process of formation of this type of discourse.
