TRANSFORMATION OF MYTH CONSCIOUSNESS IN VASKO POPA’S POETRY AND SINIŠA KOVACEVIC’S DRAMA

Summary/Abstract: Modern readings of literature imply the recognition of different relationships of contemporary authors’ works and texts of older forms of literature. In such tendencies, we can often connect works from medieval literature and literary achievements which are in specific inter-textual relation with them. This paper, in a way of multi-layered reading of palimpsest, tries to read works of contemporary Serbian literature in intercultural relationship with medieval Serbian texts, and beside this, paying special attention to trans-coding of taken myth matrix.
