The RO e-Transport system: challenges and benefits in the digitalization of fiscal regulations

Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the legislative, but also practical, benefits and challenges of the digitalization process of the RO e-Transport fiscal monitoring and record system. In addition, it presents various industry examples, designed to enrich the exploration of tax regulations, while showing the trends and pressing challenges faced by the legislator, companies, and consumers alike. We target both technological solutions through a holistic vision of the industry, as well as the regulatory and adaptation needs of the tax system in the field.
