Summary/Abstract: The article evokes the Easter nights experienced in Bucharest in the 1960s. Towards the end of the 1960s, rightly considered as a time of liberalization, Greek faithful would come to celebrate Easter and cars with Athens or Thessaloniki license plates could be seen near some churches in Bucharest. Other guests of the Easter services in Bucharest were the Lebanese. The Easter holidays offered reasons for great joy, despite the difficult times under communism.
