Journal “Belarusian as a Foreign Language” in Belarusian Glottodidactics

Summary/Abstract: The paper considers the history of creation, the content and the purposes of the scientifi c journal “Belarusian as a Foreign Language”, achievements and challenges in the fi eld of Belarusian glottodidactics (e.g. state certifi cation of Belarusian as a foreign language, creation of international assossiation of Belarusian language teachers, etc.). The fi rst issue of the international journal is being published at the 500th anniversary of Belarusian book-printing. That is why the journal also includes articles on Belarusian literature and culture with the aim of promoting Belarusian heritage among foreigners.
