Summary/Abstract: The Polluter Pays Principle is a fundamental concept in environmental law that aims to ensure that those who cause environmental damage bear financial responsibility for preventing and remedying it. In the context of global efforts to address climate change, this principle plays a key role in promoting sustainable development and environmental protection. The report analyzes the implementation of the principle in Bulgaria and the European Union and examines the results of the implementation.
