Personal finance management dilemmas in the context of intergenerational solidarity concept

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays there are five generations: traditionalists, baby boomers, generation X, Y and Z. They have developed different attitudes to personal finance management. According to the intergenerational solidarity, the understanding of the differences is the fundament in intergenerational decision making process. The main purpose of the article is to show that attitudes to personal finance management are changing across generations and the understanding of these differences is essential in the context of intergenerational solidarity.
